Web26 de out. de 2024 · Howard Morgan, who has died aged 71, was an artist considered one of the most daring of modern portrait painters, whose fluent and bravura technique and singular character marked him out as one of the greatest society portraitists of his age. WebBorn in 1947 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, M.S. (Mike) Ryan, was educated at Drake University, Old Dominion University, and the University of Iowa, earning a BFA and MA in painting. Ryan had the good fortune to study under some well-known teachers, including Leonard Good, Byron Burford, Michael Tysack, Joe Patrick and Howard Rogovin.
